- 1 box (15 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Grease the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the apple filling without mixing.
- Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the cake mix.
- Slice unsalted butter into small pats and place them on top.
- Sprinkle ground cinnamon over everything.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours until golden brown and bubbly.
