Description

Delicious and healthy banana oat treats perfect for snacking.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 cups rolled oats (or oat flour)
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 24 tbsp water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Add egg and melted coconut oil; mix until combined.
  4. Stir in oats gradually to form a thick dough.
  5. Add cinnamon if using, then water as needed for workable dough.
  6. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into shapes.
  7. Place treats on baking sheet and bake 20–25 minutes until firm.
  8. Cool completely before serving or storing.
