  • 6 small flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apple Filling – Start by roughly chopping the apple pie filling. Smaller pieces make it easier to roll the tortillas and keep the filling evenly distributed. The sweet apples and thick cinnamon sauce will give every bite that classic apple pie flavor.
  2. Warm the Tortillas – Lightly warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 10–15 seconds. This makes them flexible and prevents cracking when you roll them.
  3. Fill and Roll – Place about 2 tablespoons of the apple filling along one edge of each tortilla. Roll the tortilla tightly into a taquito shape, keeping the filling tucked inside.
  4. Prepare the Air Fryer – Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. Place the rolled taquitos seam-side down so they stay closed while cooking.
  5. Air Fry Until Crispy – Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes until the tortillas become golden and crisp. The edges should be lightly browned and slightly crunchy.
  6. Coat with Cinnamon Sugar – While the taquitos are still warm, brush them lightly with melted butter. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl, then roll each taquito in the mixture until coated.
