Baked Brie in Sourdough Bread

Description

A delicious baked brie served in a sourdough bread bowl, topped with cranberry sauce and optional honey and rosemary.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round sourdough bread loaf
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary (optional)
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully cut off the top of the sourdough loaf and scoop out some inner bread to create space for the filling.
  3. Place the whole brie cheese in the hollowed loaf and spoon cranberry sauce generously over it.
  4. Optionally drizzle honey and sprinkle rosemary on top.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the outside of the bread bowl.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and melty.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with dippers.
