Description

Delicious cookies made with yellow cake mix, cream cheese, and Valentine’s Day candy corn.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 oz cheesecake pudding (only the dry mix)
  • 1 cup chopped Valentine’s Day candy corn

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Chop candy corn.
  3. Cream together butter and cream cheese.
  4. Add egg and vanilla; mix until well blended (good to use a mixer).
  5. Stir in cake mix, then pudding mix, a little at a time until all blended (used mixer until it got very thick, then mixed with spoon).
  6. Add chopped candy corn and mix until well combined.
  7. Spoon onto parchment paper on a cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.

Notes

  • Using a mixer helps to combine ingredients well.
  • Make sure the cream cheese and butter are at room temperature for easier mixing.
