Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh kale, chopped
- 2 ripe pears, sliced
- 1 cup walnuts, toasted
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash kale thoroughly and remove tough stems. Chop leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast walnuts for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté kale with a pinch of salt and pepper until wilted (4-5 minutes).
- Add sliced pears and toasted walnuts to the skillet. Toss gently to combine.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with balsamic vinegar; toss again.
- Serve immediately on plates, adding extra walnuts for garnish if desired.
Notes
- For best flavor, use fresh, seasonal pears.
- You can substitute other nuts like pecans if preferred.
