Description

Delicious sautéed button mushrooms with garlic and herbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound button mushrooms (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced, about 3 cloves)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon Italian parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Using a damp paper towel, gently wipe off the mushrooms.
  2. Heat a medium-sized skillet over medium high heat and add the butter. Once hot, add the mushrooms and cook for about 3 minutes, tossing occasionally.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir to coat the mushrooms in the butter and garlic. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mushrooms are golden brown on several sides.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and stir to coat.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm. Enjoy!
