A delicious and easy cheesy turkey pasta skillet, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1/2 small onion (finely chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 1/2 cups dried short cut pasta (approximately 8 ounces)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet heat the oil over medium high heat. Once it is hot add the ground turkey and onion. Cook for 7-8 minutes, breaking apart into small pieces, until the turkey is no longer pink and the onions are soft.
- Add the garlic and cook for another minute, until you can start to smell it.
- Mix in the spices and stir to coat the meat.
- Add in the dried pasta with the chicken broth and milk. Stir and bring the mixture to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for 8-10 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese until it is melted. Serve.
Notes
- This recipe is great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the skillet for extra flavor and nutrition.
