- 1 cup sushi rice
- 10 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 3 nori sheets
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear. Cook according to package instructions (about 20 minutes). Stir in sugar while warm.
- Slice strawberries evenly and set aside.
- Lay nori on a bamboo mat, spread an even layer of rice, leaving an inch at the top. Place strawberry slices in the center.
- Roll tightly using the bamboo mat, wetting the edge of nori to seal.
- Slice into bite-sized pieces with a damp knife. Drizzle with whipped cream and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
