Description

Spicy and flavorful marinated chicken thighs with melted mozzarella, perfect for serving hot alongside rice or noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken pieces with gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Mix until well-coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked and caramelized.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the chicken, and cover the skillet with a lid to melt the cheese (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot alongside rice or noodles.
