Description
This Rosemary Garlic Pull Apart Bread is perfect for any occasion, featuring a chewy texture and rich flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Stir until it forms a soft dough.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Melt butter and mix in minced garlic and chopped rosemary in a small bowl.
- Once risen, punch down the dough to release air bubbles. Divide it into equal pieces (about 12-15) and dip each piece into the garlic mixture before stacking them vertically in a greased loaf pan.
- Cover the loaf pan with a cloth and let it rise again for about 30 minutes until puffed up.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh rosemary for enhanced flavor.
- This bread pairs well with olive oil or butter for dipping.
