- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain the fat.
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6–7 hours, or high for 3–4 hours, until the cabbage and rice are tender.

- Can be served with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes.
